The Erasmus Recruitment Days 2011 will take place from Thursday 3th of February until Wednesday  16th of February 2011. The preparations of this shared initiative of EFR and STAR have started in August.

During the Erasmus Recruitment Days there are different types of recruitment activities that your company can choose to participate in. To simplify your choice, we offer several different packages so you can choose the package with activities that meets your needs. Students are able to enrol for activities online, where they can also submit their resume and motivation.

Company Presentation
A 50 minute presentation allows you to provide information concerning the structure and culture of your organisation, the possibilities for student internships, as well as career opportunities for graduates. The presentations, which can be visited by all participating students, will be grouped according to their business sector.

Stand at Branch drink
During one of the End of Day drinks of the Erasmus Recruitment Days, you are positioned to informally get in touch with students. You will have a stand to your disposal, in which you might present promotion material and company information. Companies are grouped per branch, so as to appeal to students with a specific interest in your branch.

Workshop
An excellent opportunity to engage in direct interaction with 15 to 20 students by providing a 3 hour program, enabling student specific advice and more personal interaction. The workshop offers you the possibility of discussing a case or simulating a management game, depending on your company’s preference. Afterwards a lunch or drink is scheduled, providing the participating recruiters and students an informal environment for interaction.. To students who are in the final phase of their studies, a workshop is a great opportunity to find out more about the company they are interested in. Students can sign up online for a workshop by sending their resume and motivation letter, which allows you to make a selection.

Individual Interviews
Another alternative is a 45-minute interview with selected students. Recruiters are allowed to interview a maximum of nine students a day. These interviews serve as orientation for both students and companies or as a first selection round. The selection is made by your company based on the student’s motivation letter and resume. Past events have shown us that a flexible schedule on part of the company allows it to invite promising students it may have encountered, during one of the other activities, to an interview.

Branch Dinner
The branch dinner consists of several courses. After each course, students are expected to circulate, so every student can meet all participating companies in an informal way. The basic concept is a four-course dinner, in which 4 companies and 20 students participate. Again, the selection of invited students will be made on the basis of a student’s resume and motivation letter. The exact number of participating companies depends on the number of applications. Costs of the branch dinner will be on the account of the Erasmus Recruitment Days.

Company Dinner
As part of the program of the Erasmus Recruitment Days, you have the option of organising your own dinner. In this way you will get informally, but intensively acquainted with a number of selected students. You will finance and set the location yourself, but the Erasmus Recruitment Days Committee could help out if needed.

Informal recruitment
Informal recruitment allows you to meet students, which are selected by your company, in an active and informal way. In principal everything is possible, from offering a sports clinic to organising a high-tea.. These can be full or half day activities. There are some basic concepts from past years, but we would encourage you to acquaint us with your own ideas.

Lunch
Every day, a lunch is hosted for participating students and recruiters. You have the option of sponsoring a lunch; this matches your brand name to the lunch and results in high circulation of your promotional material.

Social drink
Every day of the event ends with an informal drink for students and recruiters. Sponsoring one of these drinks is a highly visible method of advertising and is likely to attract a lot of attention. If you wish to sponsor such a drink, we will schedule your presentation right beforehand. Past years have shown that presentations schedules at the end of the day, and before the drink, invariably have a higher turnout.

Book
Every participating student receives the Erasmus Recruitment Days book, in which they will find tips about job interviews, company profiles and the activities they can participate in. All participating companies will be represented in the book with an advertisement as well as a company profile.

Marketing options
Next to the Erasmus Recruitment Days book, there are many options that can give your company more exposure during the event. Examples are your company logo on billboards or other promotional material, which are already included in the packages. You also have the option for additional sponsoring using gadgets (e.g. cups, pens, bags, etc.).
