The Erasmus Recruitment Days 2009 will take place from Thursday 5th of February till Wednesday 18th of February 2009. The preparations of this shared initiative of EFR and STAR have already started.
During the Erasmus Recruitment Days there are different types of recruitment activities that your company can choose to participate in. To make the choice easier, we offer several different packages so you can choose a package with activities that meet your needs. Students are able to enrol for activities online, where they can submit their resume and motivation.
Company Presentation
During a presentation of 50 minutes, you will have the opportunity to provide information about the organisational structure and culture, internships for students and career possibilities for graduates. Company presentations are open for all students.
Branch drink
Companies have the opportunity to present themselves by means of a company stand on a branch drink during the Erasmus Recruitment Days. During the social drinks recruiters can get in contact with students together with recruiters of other companies who are participating in that day’s drink.
Workshop
A workshop provides a unique way to meet students (15-20) in a direct and personal way. The workshop consists of a case or management game of your choice. For students in their final phase of their study, it provides a great opportunity to really get to know your company. You will select students for participation based on their resume and motivation. After the workshop, there will be a lunch or social drink where recruiters and students come together in an informal way.
Interviews
You have the possibility to interview students that you select, with about 50 minutes per student. These interviews facilitate a first impression of the students and can serve as a first selection round. You can have a maximum of 9 students per day. It is also possible to reserve a few positions for students who you have met during a workshop or presentation.
Branch Dinner
A branch dinner consists of several courses, where students sit at another company’s table after each course. This way you will meet a group of students in an informal way, while students have the opportunity to compare companies of the same sector. The main concept is a dinner with 4 courses, giving the opportunity to 4 companies and 20 students to meet each other. Selection will be done by the recruiter, based on resume and motivation. The exact number of companies for each dinner depends on the number of enrolments within the sector.
Company Dinner
You can choose to organise your own company dinner within the Erasmus Recruitment Days context. You organise the location and the dinner itself, while the Erasmus Recruitment Days committee will take care of the communication between your company and the students. This way you will meet students in an informal way, while students have the opportunity to really get to know your company.
Sportive recruitment
Sportive recruitment offers you the possibility to meet students that you select in an active and informal way. You will get in touch with students during an activity of your choice. Examples are sailing, golf clinic, or even a squash tournament. We are open for all your ideas, which we can make happen with your collaboration.
Lunch
Aside the activities mentioned above, all students and participating companies are offered lunch at the university every day. Your company can sponsor lunch, for example after your presentation. The lunch will be sponsored using promotional banners and other items.
Social drink
It is also possible to sponsor the social drink at the end of each day. When you are doing a presentation, we aim to plan your presentation before the social drink. Previous experience has shown that these social drinks attract many students. You will also have the opportunity to get in touch with students you have met during the presentation. Promotional banners and other items from your recruitment department will ensure that the social drink is clearly sponsored by your company.
Book
Every participating student receives the Erasmus Recruitment Days book. Here they will find tips about job interviews, company profiles and the activities they can participate in. All participating companies will be represented in the book with an advertisement as well as a company profile.
Sponsoring
Next to the Erasmus Recruitment Days book, there are many options that can give your company more exposure during the event. Examples are your company logo on billboards or other promotional material, which are already included in the packages. You also have the option for additional sponsoring using gadgets (e.g. cups, pens, bags, etc.).
